DetailSum Complete works from the numbers you enter. Start with one familiar job and compare the estimate with your own experience.

1. Open Complete

Copy your license key from your Gumroad purchase content or receipt. Open Customer login and paste the entire key. Internet access is needed to verify your purchase. The sample key shown to the seller in Gumroad is not a customer license.

2. Set up your business

Enter your working-time pay and business profit target. Review Advanced business costs, including monthly overhead, job hours per month, vehicle cost and processing fees. Save business defaults to reuse them.

3. Review the job

Choose the service, vehicle and condition. Read what the package includes. Adjust the hands-on time, setup time and materials. Additional work covers tasks beyond the selected package; do not count the same work twice.

For mobile work, enter the total round-trip distance and driving minutes for all visits. A driving-time value of zero contributes no driving pay or overhead. Check it even when the distance is already entered.

4. Read the result and prepare the offer

The quote includes your working-time pay and entered costs, then targets a separate business profit margin after processing fees. Use Check My Price to evaluate what you already charge. Add customer details and copy or print the customer quote. In the browser print dialog, choose Save as PDF when that option is available.

What is the JSON backup file?

It is a safety copy of your DetailSum data. You do not need to open it or edit its contents.

1. Choose Download backup (.json) inside Complete.
2. Keep the file in a safe folder, or transfer it to your other device.
3. On the other device, open Complete and choose Restore from backup.
4. Select the downloaded JSON file and review the confirmation before restoring.

Restore brings in the backup’s business defaults and working draft and adds its saved quotes. Existing quote IDs are kept unchanged. Download your current backup first if you need to keep the current draft.

The backup can contain customer names and other details you entered. Treat it as private business data. It is not a PDF quote to send to a customer.

Where is my work saved?

In the browser and website address you use. There is no automatic device sync. A different browser, private browsing, clearing site data, or moving from a test address to the final domain can leave you with an empty workspace. Restore a backup there to transfer your work.

Reset only what you need

New quote resets the job and travel while retaining business settings. Restore estimates replaces edited job estimates with the current starting estimates. Advanced costs has a separate reset, with individual defaults available for its fields.

Access or refund help

If a key fails, check that it belongs to DetailSum Complete and copy it again without extra text. For an access problem or a refund request within the advertised 14-day period, contact the seller using the contact details on your Gumroad purchase receipt. Signing out removes access from this browser session; it does not erase locally saved quotes. Download backups before clearing browser data.
