Calculator inputs and saved work

The free calculator works in the current page and does not send your entered amounts to our server. Complete stores quotes, customer details and business settings in your browser. Those entries are not uploaded by the app. There is no automatic cloud backup or sync.

Backup files are created on your device. Restoring a JSON backup reads the file in your browser. Printing or sharing a quote uses the browser or services you choose.

Purchases and license checks

Gumroad handles checkout and purchase records under its own policies. We use the Gumroad license verification service to confirm that a submitted key belongs to this product and that the purchase currently grants access. Do not enter payment-card details in DetailSum itself.

After a successful check, an encrypted, essential access cookie is stored for up to seven days. It contains the license and verification times and is not readable by page scripts. The server rechecks the license on a later protected-page request once 15 minutes have elapsed since the last check. Signing out clears this browser’s access cookie.

Hosting and visit measurement

Cloudflare hosts the site and necessarily processes network information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect it. The app also uses a hashed IP or license key as a short-lived rate-limit identifier to limit repeated login attempts. Application code does not log submitted keys or quote data.

Optional page-view measurement is not enabled in this package’s default configuration.

If the operator enables Cloudflare Web Analytics, it is added only to public information pages. Calculator values, customer quote contents and license keys are not included in the analytics integration. Browser or network blocking can prevent visit measurement.

Your control

Download a backup before removing browser data. You can delete local site data in your browser settings; this also removes saved work and may sign you out. For questions about purchase records or this product, use the seller contact details on your Gumroad receipt or @detailsum.
